Respond to the petition of Akbar Muhamadi's family, and the complaint of millions of other protestors to the criminal Islamic regime of Iran
To: the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, all human rights organizations, and all freedom lovers Akbar Muhammadi died in Evin prison on his 9th day of hunger strike.
He was arrested consequent to the backlash of "Kooy-e-Daneshgah".
Having faced intolerable tortures, and having gone on a critical physical
condition, he had been released for an unlimited period in accordance
with doctors' advice. 2 months ago, however, he was arrested and sent
to Evin prison again. The petition of Akbar Muhammadi's family to the United Nations High
Commissioner for Human Rights is the request to pursue the case of Akbar's
murder in Evin prison. Establish an international commissioner to pursue all the crimes of this Islamic regime, and entrust to it the petition of this political-criminal case of Akbar Muhammadi's murder. There are tens of thousands of people like Akbar Muhammadi, getting killed everyday in prisons, streets, and in public in Iran. I am one of the survivals of imprisonment and torture, and one of the complainants of the Islamic regime. By founding and running an international campaign, I am going to make the whole world hear the call of Akbar Muhammadi's family for justice. Supporters of human rights! Lovers of freedom! Join this campaign! August 18, 2006 Minoo Homaily |
