To comrades and friends
Iranian women, workers, youth and other movements against
the capitalist islamic regime in Iran
Under the islamic regime in Iran fighting for people's rights is
very difficult, since there exists no right to organize and to have
organizations, parties, unions etc. But the world can see various
Iranian movements: women, workers, youth and others. These movements
are under oppression, imprisonment, torture and executions because
of their continued struggles for their rights - against this regime.
As an example we have seen the youth in Tehran's universities with
the leftist slogans, and women's and workers activities for their
rights, resulting in imprisonment and torture and terror against
these movement, by the islamic regime. And the islamic regime continues
the executions, stoning and hangings in public and in prisons. The
various movements in Iran are progressing, and therefore, more than
ever, the movements and different groups in Iran need international
support and solidarity.
The occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan and the Zionist occupation
of Palestine, as well as the planning of a new war in the Middle
East by the imperialist and the Islamic regime in Iran - makes the
situation very decisive for the Iranian people as well as for all
people in the Middle East. The people in the Middle East don't want
'freedom' forced upon them by imperialism. They must fight the oppressing
regimes and chose their way to freedom themselves.
In this struggle against the capitalist islamic regime in Iran,
we in International Forum consider the struggle of the movements
in Iran as our struggle, and we are standing side by side with them.
