CHRONICLE OF CHALLENGES OF IRANIAN
WORKERS
From April 28, through Sept. 2
Prepared by Committee for Solidarity with Iranian Workers
Hamburg
On the occasion of 18th anniversary of massacre of Iranian political
prisoners, and 25th anniversary of atrocities in summer 1981, this
package is dedicated to the off- springs who fell down, while blooming,
by religion-pretended chaplains. It is dedicated in particular to
those torch-bearers of a social class who were children of toil
and strive, and who wanted _ and still want - to re-establish a
political system based on humanity, free from disorientation.
Those torch-bearers are now imaged in history; and, we now approach
the regenerating youngsters who are challenging to master the political
atmosphere of Iranian society.
Some points on the 3rd issue of Chronicle:
1- The 3rd package of Chronicle is devoted to the day-to-day campaign
of Iranian workers. Such campaigns include strikes, rallies, petitions,
trials and arrests of workers. It also includes statistics of discharges
and factory closures.
Those campaigns which have not addressed the labor struggles have
been avoided.
2- For easy reference of those interested in getting the most important
news about workers activities in a certain factory or company, we
have tried to earmark them in a different color.
3- To comply with the recommendations of those interested or labor
activists, the "Committee for …" decided to publish this
chronicle in shorter intervals.
4- Our sources of reference for labor news are two websites of
" Payam" and "ILNA". We also use other websites,
organization and political parties, which deal with labor news and
issues.
5- The currency Tuman in this text is equal to 10 Rials, which
is the official Iranian currency.
